When an employee doesn’t clock out from their shift the system looks at scheduled and actual, and picks the shortest of the 2 to favor the company.
If they work 9-5 and clock 9-6 ,the PAID is 9-5
If they work 9-5 and clock 9-3, the PAID is 9-3
But if the employee doesn’t clock out at all, then it has to assume they worked until the end. HOWEVER, we alert you and require approval, saying THE EMPLOYEE HAS BEEN EXITED BY THE SYSTEM.
