Banked Hours – Negative Hours

When approving an absence, you may see the below message:

You may want to allow negative hours, for example, on vacation hours where employees accrue hours during the year but request time off for summer at the start of the year.

 

To allow negative hours,

  1. Go to MANAGE MY BUSINESS
  2. Go to MANAGE BANKED AND EARNED HOURS TYPES
  3. Find the banked hour type, click EDIT
  4. Check off this option
