Biometric devices identify users by scanning the ridges on their fingertips. If those ridges are faint or dry, the scanner may have difficulty recognizing them.
To improve scan accuracy:

- Stay hydrated: Encourage employees to drink plenty of water throughout the day, as this can help restore natural skin moisture and definition in the fingerprints.
-
- Use ridge-enhancing products: If hydration doesn’t help, you can try third-party fingerprint enhancers designed to make ridges more visible to scanners.
