If your company’s reporting period runs Sunday to Saturday but you want to generate a report for only part of the week (for example, January 1–4, 2013), here’s how to do it:
- Go to Timecards and Payroll.
- You’ll see three available reports:
- Hours Preparation Report
- Hour and Shift Preparation Report
- Hour, Shift and Pay Preparation Report
- The Hour and Shift and Hour, Shift and Pay reports include overtime and double overtime calculations, so they require a full week of data. If you select one of these, the system will automatically adjust your date range to a full week.
- To view only total hours for a partial week, use the Hours Preparation Report. This report shows basic hour totals without overtime calculations, allowing you to run it for any custom date range.
