Why is our time clock not accurate?

Table of Contents
We sync the time clock back to our server every 10 minutes. This means once every 10 minutes that the computer is awake (not in hibernate or sleep mode) it will reset itself to the latest time.
If your computer is set to hibernate or sleep, when it wakes up, the time can be off because it’s not counting while it slept. Worst case scenario, the machine will refresh within 10 minutes.
To resolve this issue you can do 1 of 2 things
- do not let your machine hibernate/sleep
- if you do want to let it sleep, reload the page before punching – this will pickup the most recent time
