Activate SMS messaging

There is a small charge for SMS as we incur a cost from our voice providers.

To enable SMS,

  1. Go to MANAGE MY BUSINESS
  2. Go to GENERAL SETTINGS
  3. Go to the SMS tab
  4. Enable SMS

 

 

Once enabled, you will receive a monthly invoice line item showing the number of messages used.

 

Now you or the employee can enable SMS as an option to receiving alerts. In their profile,

  1. Go to EMPLOYEES
  2. Find the employee, click EDIT
  3. Go to the ALERTS tab
  4. You will now see a new option to send alerts via SMS, check this OFF
