Exclude paid meals/breaks from overtime calculations.

If you want to exclude paid break/meals from OT calculations, you can do so by

  1. Go to MANAGE MY BUSINESS
  2. Go to MANAGE MY PAYROLL. SHIFTS AND LABOR RULES
  3. Go to the LABOR RULES tab
  4. Check off this option:

 

This calculation will be reflected on the Schedule page, for example in this case the employee worked 53 hours. That’s 9 hours of overtime.  But as they had 3 hours of paid breaks only 6 hours should be recorded as true overtime.
