When doing OT calculations, you can exclude paid break/meals from the OT side of the calculation.

For example, if OT is calculated at 8hrs and an employee works 8.5hrs (with 2 15min paid breaks), you can handle this 2 ways:

  1. Pay 8hrs RT, 0.5hrs OT
  2. Pay 8.5hrs RT – the 0.5hrs worked are considered RT hours

 

To enable/disable this,

  1. Go to MANAGE MY BUSINESS
  2. Go to MANGE MY PAYROLL, SHIFTS AND LABOR RULES
  3. Check this on/off
