Add a Video to Dashboard News

Dashboard News allows you to share updates, announcements, and videos directly with employees when they log into TimeWellScheduled.

A common use is embedding a YouTube video so staff can quickly watch important updates or announcements from the dashboard.

To create a new NEWS item

1. Go to MANAGE MY BUSINESS
2. Go to MANAGE DASHBOARD NEWS
3. Click ADD
4. You will see fields to enter:

• • Title – The headline employees will see
  • Message – The content displayed on the dashboard

5. To embed a video (ex. from YouTube)
   1. Go to video site, click SHARE
      
   2. Click the EMBED option
      
   3. Click the COPY button
   4. Paste this into your message

NOTE – to ensure the video fits, remove any code (or equivalent)

On your dashboard it will show playable:

Tips for Best Results

• Keep videos under 3 minutes so employees watch them.
• Use clear titles like “New Schedule Rules for Summer” or “Payroll Reminder”.
• Set an end date so outdated announcements automatically disappear.
