This feature allows you to create a group picking specific departments that will show up in the scheduling ‘Department Groups’ list. This is useful if you want to see multiple departments in a single view, ex Automotive Parts and Automotive Service as one group called Automotive.
To create a department group:
- Go to MANAGE MY BUSINESS
- Go to MANAGE MY DEPARTMENT GROUPS
- Click ADD to create a new department group, EDIT to manage an existing one
- Provide a name and pick the departments that will make up the group
You can now use this feature in various locations within the site instead of picking departments:
- Scheduling
- Who’s Working
- Reviewing time cards
- Various payroll reports
